I had used CharNG specifically for the random encounter with the weird guy when you sit down. I had plugged in the first page of the Bee Movie into the website and ran it until it started to break down.
For n+7, you can find that when you talk to Neb by "the Last Drop" tavern. I just ran "the Last Drop" in n+7 to simulate someone hard of hearing mishearing the name in way too many times.
For Otter.ai, I specifically used it on NYA-ko because I had crowdsourced her lines from a friend. I whittled down the stream of consiousness into a coherent dialogue and stuck it into my game.
Here's a runthrough of all the Oblique strategies cards I had used.
I had utilized botnik.org when I had created the wanted poster on the job board in the town square. I had helped it a little so that it would make some type of sense, but the magpie, spider, and wanted poster were all ai-generated.
The Anagram Generator was used for the locations of Bornyolk and Amanta 'Nth. It may be obvious, but they are anagrams for Brooklyn and Manhattan, respectively.
Crowdsourcing came in the form of creating characters to fill the world. Nya-ko, the bard, the bartender, and the tiny little guy (blacksmith) were all suggestions from my friends when I asked them for characters to fill this fantasy town.
This class has been a positive experience overall on my student career here at Pratt. I know the basics of HTML now! If I really hated myself, I could make my portfolio page completely from scratch and probably do a half decent job at it. My prior expereince was only in C# (I think), but now I know what a stylesheet is, how to import images/text/video, and the nitty-gritty of what it takes to format a website. I won't lie, I came into this class rearing to go and ended on a particularly low note. With this being said, I just wanted to thank you on how accomodating you were to me and how much I appreciate the patience. This was a wonderful expereince and I hope to see you around on campus sometime!
